Defect
On vehicles converted to a combined CNG/gasoline fuel system, the CNG injector assembly bracket and fuel filter bracket are improperly secured, allowing engine resonance to apply excessive load to the cable mounting bracket on which both components are installed. Continued use causes cracks to develop in the bracket and, in the worst case, the bracket may fracture.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the cable mounting bracket with a new unit and relocate the fuel filter mounting point to the frame inside the engine compartment.

状況
天然ガス/ガソリン併用仕様に改造した車両において、CNGインジェクターAssyブラケット及びフューエルフィルターブラケットの固定方法が不適切なため、エンジン共振により、当該2部品を取付けたケーブル取付ブラケットに過大な負荷がかかることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該ブラケットに亀裂が生じ、最悪の場合、折損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ケーブル取付ブラケットを新品に交換するとともにフューエルフィルターの取付けをエンジンルーム内フレーム部へ変更する。
