Defect
On vehicles equipped with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), two separate assembly deficiencies exist. On rear-wheel-drive vehicles with a manual transmission, the DPF and its body-mounting bracket have insufficient strength. On all-wheel-drive vehicles, the exhaust pipe is improperly assembled to the body. Continued operation may cause cracks to develop at the DPF flange, increasing exhaust noise and allowing exhaust gas to leak.
Corrective action
On all rear-wheel-drive manual transmission vehicles, replace the DPF and the mounting bracket with corrected parts. On all all-wheel-drive vehicles, replace the bracket tightening bolts with new bolts and inspect the DPF flange for cracks; if cracks are found, replace the DPF with a corrected part.

状況
⑤ＤＰＦ（ディーゼル粒子状物質除去装置）付き車において、手動変速機搭載の後輪駆動車ではＤＰＦおよび車体組付けブラケットの強度が不足しており、全輪駆動車では排気管の車体への組付けが不適切なものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ＤＰＦフランジ部に亀裂が発生して騒音が増大し、排気ガスが漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
⑤手動変速機搭載の後輪駆動車は全車両、ＤＰＦおよび当該組付けブラケットを対策品と交換する。全輪駆動車は全車両、当該ブラケットの締付ボルトを新品に交換するとともに、ＤＰＦフランジ部の亀裂有無を確認して、亀裂が発生している場合は、ＤＰＦを対策品に交換する。
