Defect
In the front passenger-side airbag inflator, inadequate moisture protection for the gas generant allows repeated cycles of temperature and humidity variation to degrade the gas generant. This may cause the inflator housing to rupture during airbag deployment.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front passenger airbag inflator with a corrected part.

状況
助手席側のエアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、ガス発生剤の吸湿防止が不適切なため、温度および湿度変化の繰り返しによりガス発生剤が劣化することがある。そのため、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ容器が破損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、助手席エアバッグのインフレータを対策品と交換する。
