Defect
On light trucks, the knuckle fitting bore of the knuckle adapter is improperly machined, resulting in insufficient clamping force in the mounting bolts. Continued use may cause the mounting bolts to fall out or fracture. In the worst case, the adapter may rotate, damaging the front brake hose and causing loss of front brake function.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the knuckle adapter with a non-defective part and replace the mounting bolts with new ones.

状況
小型トラックにおいて、ナックルアダプタのナックル嵌合穴加工が不適切なため、当該アダプタの取付けボルトの軸力が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、取付けボルトの脱落や折損が生じ、最悪の場合、当該アダプタが回転して前輪のブレーキホースが損傷し、前輪のブレーキが利かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ナックルアダプタを良品に交換するとともに、取付けボルトを新品に交換する。
