Defect
The resin accelerator pedal has insufficient strength. If a large lateral load is applied to the pedal arm—such as when a foot catches on the pedal during entry or exit—the arm may crack. In the worst case, the pedal arm may fracture, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the accelerator pedal assembly with the corrected part.

状況
樹脂製アクセルペダルの強度が不足しているため、乗降時に足がペダルにひっかかるなどした場合にペダルアームに横方向の大きな荷重が加わると亀裂が入り、最悪の場合、ペダルアームが折損し走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクセルペダル一式を対策品と交換する。
