Defect
On vehicles with a vertically modified exhaust pipe, the rain-intrusion prevention valve mounted at the exhaust pipe outlet is improperly secured. Exhaust pressure can push the valve retaining bracket out of position. Continued use may result in the component falling from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the exhaust pipe with a corrected part and add a reinforcement plate to the exhaust pipe bracket.

状況
排気管を縦型に改造した車両において、排気管出口に取付けている雨水浸入防止バルブの固定方法が不適切なため、排気の圧力で当該バルブ固定金具が抜けてくることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該部品が落下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排気管を対策品に交換し、排気管ブラケットに補強板を追加する。
