Defect
The exhaust pipe installation method is inadequate, allowing the joint alignment to be mispositioned when the exhaust pipe and DPF (diesel particulate filter) are assembled together. This misalignment generates excessive stress at the exhaust pipe bellows section. Engine vibration can cause cracks to develop at that location, and continued use may allow leaking exhaust gas to damage the exhaust brake hose and increase exhaust noise.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the exhaust pipe assembly condition using a dedicated inspection jig. If the joint position is incorrect, replace the exhaust pipe mounting bracket and exhaust pipe bellows section with corrected parts, and replace the exhaust brake hose with a new part.

状況
排気管の取付け方法が不適切なため、排気管とＤＰＦ（ディーゼル粒子状物質除去装置）を組付ける時に、接合部の位置がずれているものがある。そのため、排気管蛇腹部に高応力が発生し、エンジン振動などで当該部位に亀裂が生じ、そのまま使用を続けると、漏れた排気ガスにより排気ブレーキホースに損傷を与えるおそれがあるとともに騒音が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排気管の組付け状態を検査治具にて点検し、接合部の位置が不適切な場合は、排気管取付けブラケット及び排気管蛇腹部を対策品に交換するとともに、排気ブレーキホースを新品に交換する。
