Defect
On tourist buses equipped with an auxiliary fuel tank, the baseplate beneath the tank is improperly shaped, allowing water to collect between the tank bottom and the baseplate and cause corrosion. Continued use in this condition may perforate the tank, resulting in a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel tank with a new unit and replace the baseplate with a corrected part.

状況
燃料タンクを増設した観光バスにおいて、当該タンクの敷板の形状が不適切なため、タンク底面と敷板の間に水が溜まり、腐食することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該タンクに穴が開き、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクを新品に交換し、敷板を対策品に変更する。
