Defect
On medium-duty fire trucks, the fuel tank bracket is improperly designed, allowing water that enters the bracket interior to accumulate and cause rust at the lower end of the bracket. Continued operation in this condition may cause the lower end of the bracket to break and, in the worst case, the fuel tank may detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel tank bracket with a corrected part.

状況
中型消防車の燃料タンクにおいて、燃料タンクブラケットの構造が不適切なため、当該ブラケット内部に水が侵入した場合、侵入した水が滞留し、当該ブラケットの下端部に錆を発生させることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ブラケットの下端部が破損し、最悪の場合、燃料タンクが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクブラケットを対策品に交換する。
