Defect
The threaded portion of the shaft in the engine intake throttle valve has insufficient strength. Impact forces generated during valve operation may cause a crack to develop in the shaft. Continued use can cause the shaft to fracture, leaving the valve stuck in the closed position and causing the engine to run poorly. In the worst case, the engine stalls while driving and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the intake throttle valve assembly with a permanent corrected part.

状況
原動機の吸気絞り弁において、シャフトねじ部の強度が不足しているため、バルブ作動時の衝撃力により、亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、シャフトが折損し、バルブが閉じたままとなるため、原動機が不調となり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストして再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、吸気絞り弁一式を恒久対策品に交換する。
