Defect
On certain large buses, the under-floor wiring harness is routed improperly and contacts the pipe mounting bracket. Continued operation allows vehicle vibration to wear through the harness insulation. In the worst case, this may cause an engine stall and loss of lighting functions.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the harness and the bracket. Where clearance is insufficient, reposition the harness retaining clip. If the harness shows insulation damage, repair the harness.

状況
大型バスにおいて、床下ハーネスの配索が不適切なため、ハーネスが配管取付ブラケットと接触しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、車両振動等により被覆が損傷し、最悪の場合、エンジンストール及び灯火器等が不灯に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ハーネスとブラケットの隙間を確認し、少ないものはハーネス固定クリップを移動する。なお、ハーネスに損傷がある場合はハーネスを修理する。
