Defect
On large highway coaches, the wheel bearing grease fill quantity is insufficient on some units. Continued operation with insufficient grease causes inadequate lubrication of the affected bearing. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable or a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the drive wheel bearings and grease with new parts. The grease must be filled to the specified quantity.

状況
大型高速路線バスにおいて、駆動輪のベアリンググリース充填量が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ベアリングが潤滑不良になり、最悪の場合、走行不能または火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、駆動輪のベアリングとグリースを新品に交換する。なお、当該グリースは、規定量を充填する。
