Defect
On large express buses, sealant application at the rearview mirror heater harness pass-through holes in the left and right pillar sections may be inadequate. This allows water to enter through the holes during rain driving or washing. Continued operation in this condition may cause electrical components to malfunction.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify whether sealant has been applied at the mirror heater harness pass-through holes. Where sealant is absent, remove moisture from the harness and electrical components in the affected area and apply sealant.

状況
大型高速路線バスにおいて、左右ピラー部のバックミラーヒーターハーネス貫通穴部へのシール剤塗布が不適切なため、雨天走行や洗車等により当該穴部から水が浸入するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で走行を続けると、電装品が誤作動するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、バックミラーヒーターハーネス貫通穴部へのシール剤塗布の有無を確認し、シール剤が無い場合は、当該部のハーネス、電装部品の水分を除去してシール剤を塗布する。
