Defect
The waterproofing structure around the inner bearing of the rear wheel hub is improperly designed, allowing water to enter the bearing and cause rust and wear. Continued use produces vehicle vibration and abnormal noise. In the worst case, the bearing may fail completely, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the hub oil seal at the inner bearing of the rear wheel hub with a corrected part and add a waterproofing cover. On vehicles where water intrusion inside the bearing is confirmed, replace the bearing with a new unit.

状況
後輪ハブ内側軸受け部の防水構造が不適切なため、当該軸受け内部に水が浸入して錆付き、摩耗が生じるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、車体振動や異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該軸受けが破損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、後輪ハブ内側軸受け部のハブオイルシールを対策品に交換するとともに、防水カバーを追加する。 なお、当該軸受け内部に水の浸入が認められるものは、軸受けを新品に交換する。
