Defect
The intermediate arm bracket in the steering linkage has insufficient strength on some vehicles. Continued use may cause the bracket to crack and, in the worst case, the bracket fractures and loss of steering control results.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the intermediate arm bracket with the corrected part and add a spacer to the mounting surface. Additionally, on low-floor single-step vehicles, replace the complete drag link assembly—including the pitman arm and pitman link—with corrected parts.

状況
かじ取装置の中間アームブラケットの強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると当該ブラケットに亀裂が発生し、最悪の場合、ブラケットが破損してハンドル操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、中間アームブラケットを対策品に交換するとともに、取付座面にスペーサを追加する。更にワンステップ車は、連接棒一式(ピットマンアーム及びピットマンリンク)を対策品と交換する。
