Defect

The clutch fluid reservoir tank plumbing is improperly designed, allowing air to remain trapped in the line when clutch fluid is replaced. Continued use allows that trapped air to migrate into the pressurized clutch hydraulic circuit, causing incomplete clutch disengagement. In the worst case, gear changes may become impossible.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the clutch fluid reservoir tank plumbing with a corrected part.

状況

クラッチ液を蓄えるリザーバタンクの配管の構造が不適切なため、クラッチ液交換の際、当該配管内に空気が残留するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、クラッチ液の圧力配管内に空気が混入し、クラッチの切れ不良となり、最悪の場合、変速操作ができなくなるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、クラッチ液のリザーバタンクの配管を対策品と交換する。
