Defect
These vehicles were converted to large low-floor CNG route buses by mounting CNG cylinders to the lower frame. The addition of the cylinders reduces the frame's structural strength. Repeated travel on winding mountain roads and similar routes may cause cracks to develop in the affected frame section. Continued use allows the cracks to propagate and, in the worst case, the frame may fracture.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, weld reinforcement material to the underside of the affected frame section.

状況
大型低床CNG路線バスに改造した車両において、車体下部のフレームにCNGボンベを装着したことによって、フレームの強度が不足することとなり、山間の屈曲路等を繰り返し走行すると、当該フレームに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、当該フレームが破損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該フレーム下部に補強材を溶接で追加する。
