Defect
An improper manufacturing process for the shift lever inside the transmission shift unit has left microscopic cracks in the lever on some units. Continued use may cause the lever to fracture, making gear selection impossible. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable.

状況
トランスミッションの変速操作を行う変速ユニット内のレバーの製造工程が不適切なため、当該レバーに微細な亀裂が生じているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該レバーが折損し、変速不能となり、最悪の場合、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、変速ユニットの製造番号を確認し、対象のものはレバーを良品と交換する。
