Defect
The heat shield attachment point on the exhaust pipe has insufficient strength. During low-speed engine operation, the exhaust pipe and heat shield resonate, generating cracks at the attachment point. Continued use may cause the heat shield to fall from the vehicle while driving. In the worst case, the detached shield may obstruct other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the heat shield.

状況
排気管に取り付けている遮熱板取付部の強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、原動機の低速回転時に排気管と遮熱板が共振し、取付部に亀裂が発生し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、走行中に遮熱板が脱落し、他の交通の妨げとなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、遮熱板を取り外す。
