Defect
The windshield insulator mounted on the front side of the air conditioning condenser in the engine compartment is made of an inappropriate material, causing it to fracture at its mounting point during vehicle use. A fractured insulator may contact the exhaust pipe while the vehicle is in motion and, in the worst case, ignite and cause a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the windshield insulator.

状況
エンジンルーム内のエアコンコンデンサー前側に装着している遮風用インシュレーターの材質が不適切なため、使用過程において当該インシュレーターが取付部より破断することがある。そのため、走行中破断したインシュレーターが排気管に接触し、最悪の場合、インシュレーターが焼損して、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該遮風用インシュレーターを取り外す。
