Defect
The mounting base that secures the light switch circuit board is improperly designed. Repeated thermal expansion and contraction cause cracks to form in the solder joints between the base and the circuit board. These cracks create intermittent electrical discontinuity and, in the worst case, the turn signals, headlamps, and other lamps fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On vehicles where the light switch was installed at the factory, replace the base assembly (the base with the soldered circuit board) with a corrected part. On vehicles where the light switch was installed as an aftermarket accessory, replace the light switch with a corrected part.

状況
ライトスイッチの基板を固定する台座の構造が不適切なため、熱膨張・収縮の繰り返しにより、台座と基板間のはんだ部に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、亀裂部が一時的に導通不良となり、最悪の場合、方向指示器、前照灯等が不灯となるおそれがある。
改善措置
ライトスイッチが工場組付仕様の車両は、台座アセンブリ（基板をはんだ付けした台座）を対策品に交換する。 後付用品組付の車両は、ライトスイッチを対策品に交換する。
