Defect
On vehicles equipped with a rear power gate, the clearance between the spare tire hanger and the rear brake pipes is insufficient. When the vehicle travels over bumps or uneven road surfaces, the hanger and pipe contact each other and may damage the pipe. In the worst case, brake fluid leaks and braking force is reduced.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the spare tire hanger with the corrected part to restore adequate clearance, and replace the rear brake pipes and rear suspension bump stoppers with new parts.

状況
後部にパワーゲートを装着した車両において、スペアタイヤハンガーとリヤブレーキパイプとの隙間が不足している。そのため、段差等を乗り越えるような走行をした時に、当該ハンガーとパイプが干渉し、パイプが損傷することがあり、最悪の場合、ブレーキ液が漏れて制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スペアタイヤハンガーを対策品と交換し隙間を確保すると共に、リヤブレーキパイプおよびリヤサスペンション用バンプストッパを新品と交換する。
