Defect
In the engine starting aid system, the coil specification of the glow relay is inadequate, causing the coil to reach high temperatures during glow plug operation. Prolonged use may cause the relay coil to short circuit, blowing the shared fuse. In the worst case, the defroster blower motor and other components sharing the same power supply malfunction.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the glow relay with the corrected part.

状況
原動機の始動補助装置において、グローリレーのコイル仕様が不適切なため、グロープラグ作動時にコイルが高温になるものがある。そのため長時間使用すると、最悪の場合、当該リレーのコイルがショートしヒューズが溶断して、電源を共有しているデフロスタのブロアモータ等が作動不良となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、グローリレーを対策品に交換する。
