Defect
The electrical wiring routed to the horn is improperly routed, causing the wiring to bear mechanical load during steering operations. Continued use damages the wiring and, in the worst case, causes a broken wire that renders the horn inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the steering lower cover with a corrected part and replace the clock spring assembly with a new unit.

状況
警音器用電気配線の取り回しが不適切なため、ハンドル操作を行った際に当該配線に負荷がかかるものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、配線が損傷し、最悪の場合、断線して警音器が鳴らなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ステアリングロアカバーを対策品に交換するとともに、クロックスプリング一式を新品に交換する。
