Defect

The horn contact plate attached to the steering wheel is insufficiently secured on some vehicles. Steering inputs and driving vibration may cause the horn contact plate to detach. In the worst case, operating the horn switch will not sound the horn.

Corrective action

Replace the complete horn contact plate assembly on all vehicles with a conforming part.

状況

 かじ取りハンドルに取り付けられているホーンコンタクトプレートの固定が不十分なも のがあり、ハンドル操作や走行時の振動によりホーンコンタクトプレートが外れることが ある。そのため、最悪の場合、ホーンスイッチを操作しても、警音器が鳴らなくなるおそ れがある。

改善措置

全車両、ホーンコンタクトプレート一式を良品と交換する。
