Defect
During the manufacturing process for the rear axle, improper assembly resulted in insufficient torque being applied to the bolts securing the wheel hub to the trailing link. Continued operation in this condition causes the bolts to loosen and produce abnormal noise. In the worst case, the bolts fracture, the wheel separates, and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the tightening torque of the affected bolts and, if torque is insufficient, tighten the bolts to the specified value.

状況
リヤアクスルの製造工程において、組み付け作業が不適切なため、ホイールハブとトレーリングリンクの組み付けボルトの締め付けが不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ボルトが緩んで異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該ボルトが折損し、脱輪して走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ボルトの締め付けトルクを点検し、トルクが不足している場合は規定のトルクで締め付ける。
