Defect
The manufacturing process for the low-pressure hydraulic hose of the hydraulic power steering system is defective, causing some hoses to be deformed. Pressure fluctuations generated during steering operation can cause the deformed hose to crack and leak hydraulic fluid. In the worst case, the leaking fluid may contact the exhaust pipe and cause a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the power steering low-pressure hydraulic hose with a corrected/revised part.

状況
油圧式パワーステアリングの低圧側油圧ホースの製造工程が不適切なため、ホースが変形しているものがある。そのため、ハンドル操作による油圧変動により、亀裂が生じて作動油が漏れ、最悪の場合、排気管に付着し火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、パワーステアリングの低圧側油圧ホースを対策品と交換する。
