Defect
Improper handling during the engine transport process may have left the oil filler cap loosened on some units. Continued operation in this condition allows oil to spray from the cap area under high-load driving and, in the worst case, may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Inspect the oil filler cap tightening condition on all vehicles and torque it to specification if loose. If oil leakage is present, clean the affected area and replace the necessary parts.
