Issue
Some vehicles have horn switch mounting bolts with insufficient strength securing the horn switch to the steering wheel. During airbag deployment in extremely low-temperature conditions, the deployment pressure may fracture the bolt and eject the horn switch from the steering wheel. In the worst case, the ejected horn switch may injure vehicle occupants.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the horn switch and airbag with corrected parts.
