Defect
Manufacturing process burrs may be present inside the piston cup of the brake master cylinder, causing cracks to form in the piston cup. Continued use in this condition may result in the piston cup failing. In the worst case, hydraulic pressure is not transmitted and braking force decreases. This recall supplements notification No. 1383, dated February 28, 2005, due to an error in the original vehicle selection; additional vehicles are added under this new filing.
Corrective action
Replace the affected piston cup on all vehicles with a non-defective part.

状況
ブレーキマスターシリンダー内部のピストンカップに製造工程時のバリが混入しているものがあるため、ピストンカップに亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用すると、最悪の場合、ピストンカップが破損し、油圧が伝達されず、制動力が低下するおそれがある。 本件は、平成17年2月28日付「届出番号1383」にてリコール届出を行ったものですが、対象車の選定に一部誤りがあったため、対象車両を追加して、新たに届出するものです。
改善措置
全車両、当該ピストンカップを良品と交換する。
