Defect
The routing of the air brake hose for the spring-type parking brake system is improper, causing the hose to contact the air spring on affected vehicles. Continued use allows the hose to sustain damage and, in the worst case, air may leak and the parking brake may apply inadvertently.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected hose with the corrected part and reroute the hose. On certain models, rerouting requires the service brake air hose to be replaced with a revised-length part. A caution note regarding correct hose routing will be added to the service manual. If the air spring is found to be damaged, replace it with a new unit.

状況
①スプリング式駐車制動装置のエアブレーキホースの取り回しが不適切なため、当該ホースが空気ばねと干渉するものがある。 そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ホースが損傷し、最悪の場合、エアが漏れ、駐車ブレーキが作動するおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、当該ホースを対策品と交換するとともにホースの取り回しを変更する。又、一部機種は、ホースの取り回し変更に伴い、主制動装置用エアホースを長さ変更品と交換する。又、整備解説書に当該ホースの取り回しについての注意事項を追記する。 なお、空気ばねに損傷がある場合には、新品と交換する。
