Defect
On four-wheel-drive vehicles, the material hardness of the rear wheel hub does not meet specification, causing cracks to form during manufacturing. Continued use allows these cracks to propagate until the rear wheel hub fractures. In the worst case, the rear wheel may detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the rear wheel hub assembly with a corrected part.

状況
四輪駆動車のリヤホイールハブにおいて、材料の硬度に不適切なものがあったため、製造時に亀裂が生じたものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、亀裂が進行してリヤホイールハブが折損し、最悪の場合、後輪が脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、リヤホイールハブアッシを良品と交換する。
