Defect
On plastic fuel tanks, the fuel pump retainer—the retaining bracket that secures the fuel pump to the fuel tank—is not tightened correctly and may not be fully secured. Continued operation allows the fuel tank to swell, deforming the fuel pump retainer. This reduces the airtight seal between the fuel tank and the fuel pump retainer, and fuel may leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel pump retainer with a new part and tighten it to the specified torque.

状況
樹脂製燃料タンクにおいて、燃料ポンプリテーナ（燃料タンクに燃料ポンプを固定する保持具）の締め付けが不適切なため、確実に締め付けられていないものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、燃料タンクが膨潤した際に燃料タンクが燃料ポンプリテーナを変形させ、燃料タンクと燃料ポンプリテーナの気密性が低下して燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料ポンプリテーナを新品と交換し正規トルクで締め付ける。
