Defect
The coil wire crimp on the solenoid valve that controls hydraulic pressure within the automatic transmission was improperly made. Repeated thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes in the transmission may break the coil wire. Loss of proper hydraulic pressure control causes clutch slippage and shift malfunctions. In the worst case, the vehicle may become inoperable, or the vehicle may move forward with the selector in the N range.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, check the automatic transmission serial number. On units identified as subject to this recall, test the solenoid valve for continuity. Units that fail the continuity test must have the complete automatic transmission replaced with a new unit. Units that pass the continuity test must have the affected solenoid valve replaced with a conforming unit.

状況
①自動変速機に内蔵された油圧を制御するソレノイドバルブのコイル線のかしめが不適切 なため、自動変速機の温度変化による熱膨張収縮の繰り返し応力により、コイル線が断線 するものがある。そのため、正常な油圧制御ができなくなり、クラッチの滑りや変速不良 が発生し、最悪の場合、走行不能あるいはＮレンジで車両が前進するおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、自動変速機のシリアル番号を点検し、対象となるものは、ソレノイドバルブの 導通状態を検査し、異常のあるものは、自動変速機一式を新品と交換する。また、異常の ないものは、当該ソレノイドバルブを良品と交換する。
