Defect
The weld joining the parking brake pedal body to the bracket that secures the brake cable is improperly made. Repeated parking brake operations can cause the weld to detach. As a result, applying the parking brake pedal may produce no braking effect, or the parking brake may become impossible to release.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the parking brake pedal with a non-defective unit.

状況
駐車ブレーキペダル本体とブレーキワイヤを固定するための金具との溶接が不適切なため、駐車ブレーキ操作の繰返しにより当該溶接部が剥がれるものがある。そのため、駐車ブレーキペダルを踏んでも、駐車ブレーキが効かなくなる、または、解除できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、駐車ブレーキペダルを良品と交換する。
