Defect
An improper oil filling procedure during the engine manufacturing process resulted in some units being delivered without transmission oil. Continued operation without oil causes the transmission's internal shaft bearings to overheat, leading to bearing damage and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the transmission for the presence of oil. On any vehicle found to have no oil, replace the complete engine assembly with a new unit.

状況
エンジン製造工程でオイルの注入作業が不適切なため、ミッションオイルが注入されていないものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ミッション内部の軸受ベアリングが高温となり、当該ベアリングが破損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ミッションのオイルの有無を点検し、オイルが注入されていないものは、エンジン一式を新品と交換する。
