Defect

During vehicle assembly, an inappropriate lubricant was applied to the brake light switch. Over time, components of the lubricant oxidize, increasing contact resistance at the switch terminals and causing a continuity fault. As a result, the brake lights may fail to illuminate.

Corrective action

Replace the affected switch with a new unit on all vehicles.

状況

制動灯スイッチに、車両製作工程において不適切な潤滑剤を吹き付けていたものがある。 そのため、使用過程で潤滑剤成分の一部が酸化し、接点部の接触抵抗が増大して導通不良 となり、制動灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該スイッチを新品と交換する。
