Defect

The resin fill inside the engine rotation sensor was improperly applied during manufacturing, causing the solder on the circuit board to deform under engine heat. This deformation creates a short circuit, preventing the sensor from transmitting a normal signal. As a result, the engine may fail to start, or may stall during driving and cannot be restarted.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the rotation sensors (cam angle sensor and crank angle sensor) with corrected parts.

状況

　原動機の回転センサ内部の樹脂材充填が不適切なものがあるため、原動機の熱等により 基盤部の半田が変形し、回路がショートして正常な信号が発信されないことがある。その ため、原動機が始動できなくなる、または走行中に原動機が停止し再始動できなくなるお それがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該回転センサ（カム角センサ及びクランク角センサ）を対策品と交換する。
