Defect

The fuel injection timing in the fuel injection system was set incorrectly. Under high-load conditions such as hill climbing, injection timing retards and causes incomplete combustion. This produces abnormal noise and, in the worst case, insufficient power output may cause the engine to stall while driving.

Corrective action

Inspect the fuel injection system on all vehicles. On units that have not been updated, adjust the fuel injection timing to the correct specified value.

状況

燃料噴射装置における燃料噴射時期の設定が不適切なため、登坂等の高負荷運転で燃料噴 射時期が遅れ、燃焼不良となる場合がある。そのため、異音が発生し、最悪の場合、出力 不足により走行中エンストするおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、燃料噴射装置を点検し、未対策品が装着されているものは、燃料噴射時期を適正 な設定値に変更する。
