Defect
A parts supplier investigation of field-returned driver-side airbag inflators identified anomalous internal pressure output that may lead to abnormal deployment. Although the root cause has not been determined, all inflators of the same type manufactured up to a specific date are being replaced as a precautionary measure.
Corrective action
Replace the airbag inflator on all vehicles with a new unit. Replaced inflators will be collected for root-cause analysis.

状況
運転者席用エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、部品メーカーで市場回収品を調査した結果、異常展開に繋がるおそれがあるインフレータ容器内圧の異常出力が認められた。このため、原因は判明していないが、一定の期間までに製造した同タイプのインフレータについて、予防的措置として当該インフレータを新品に交換する。
改善措置
全車両、当該インフレータを新品と交換する。なお、交換部品については回収して原因調査を実施する。
