Defect
On the bracket that mounts the main stand, there is a gap between the weld joining the stand retaining nut and the bracket. Repeated operation of the stand may cause the nut weld to detach. Continued use in this condition allows vibration during driving to loosen and eject the stand mounting bolt, causing the stand to separate from the bracket and contact the tire, which may damage the tire. In addition, the separated stand may create a hazard for other road users.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the shape of the main stand mounting bracket. On vehicles with the old-type bracket, replace the bolt, washer, and nut with corrected parts. On vehicles with the new-type bracket, replace the bolt, washer, nut, and bracket with corrected parts.

状況
メインスタンドを取付けるブラケットにおいて、当該スタンドを締付けるナットとブラケ ットの溶接部に隙間があるため、当該スタンドの操作を繰り返すと、ナットの溶接部が剥 がれるものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、走行時の振動等により、スタン ドの締付けボルトが弛んで抜け落ち、当該スタンドがブラケットから外れてタイヤと干渉 し、タイヤを損傷するおそれがある。または、外れたスタンドが他の交通の安全を妨げる おそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、メインスタンド取付けブラケットの形状を点検し、旧型ブラケットの場合はボル トとワッシャー及びナットを対策品に交換する。新型ブラケットの場合はボルト、ワッシ ャー、ナット及びブラケットを対策品と交換する。
