Defect
On certain automatic transmissions, the rubber oil seal that maintains hydraulic pressure in the 4th-gear clutch has insufficient strength margin. Continued operation can cause the seal to crack, reducing hydraulic pressure and causing the clutch to slip. As a result, the vehicle may fail to accelerate even when the accelerator pedal is depressed. (Note: This filing adds vehicles that were omitted from the recall filed on April 12, 1994, under notification number 433.)
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the end clutch assembly with a corrected part.

状況
自動変速機の内部にある4速においてのみ作動するクラッチの油圧を保持しているゴム製 オイルシールの強度に余裕がないものがあるため、このままの状態で使用を続けると、当 該オイルシールに亀裂が発生し、油圧が低下することによりクラッチが滑る場合があり、 アクセルペダルを踏んでも加速できなくなる。 (備考) 本届出は、平成6年4月12日付け「届出番号433」のリコール届出に、対象から洩れ ていた車両を新たに追加するものである。
改善措置
全車両、エンドクラッチ一式を対策品と交換する。
