Defect
The low-pressure fuel pressure regulator mounted on the fuel filter was shipped without a waterproof cap installed on some units, allowing water to enter the regulator. This causes internal rust to develop. In the worst case, fuel leaks from the regulator.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect for the presence of the waterproof cap. On any vehicle missing the cap, replace the low-pressure fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter as a complete assembly with new parts.

状況
燃料フィルターに取付けられた低圧燃圧レギュレーターに防水キャップが未装着のものが あり、水が浸入することがある。そのため、レギュレーター内部に錆が発生し、最悪の場 合、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、防水キャップの有無を点検し、防水キャップ未装着のものは低圧燃圧レギュレー ターおよび燃料フィルター一式を新品と交換する。
