Defect
The rear axle differential incorporates an Active Yaw Control system that manages left-right drive force distribution at the rear wheels. A defect in part of the computer program controlling this system may, depending on engine start timing, cause the drive force transfer clutch to engage continuously. Continued use in this condition may, in the worst case, damage the rear axle differential.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the control computer with a corrected part.

状況
後軸差動装置において、後輪左右の駆動力制御機構(アクティブヨーコントロールシステ ム)を制御するコンピュータープログラムの一部に不適切なものがあるため、原動機の始 動タイミングによって駆動力移動機構のクラッチが連続して作動する状態となる場合があ り、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、後軸差動装置が破損するおそれがあ る。
改善措置
全車両、当該コンピューターを対策品に交換する。
