Defect
The check valve located inside the vacuum hose of the brake booster was manufactured with a machining defect. Continued use prevents the internal components of the valve from functioning. In the worst case, the brake booster ceases to operate, and normal pedal effort becomes insufficient to achieve adequate braking.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the vacuum hose containing the affected valve with a conforming assembly.

状況
ブレーキ倍力装置の負圧ホース内にあるチェックバルブ(逆止弁)が加工不良のため、そ のままの状態で使用を続けると、当該バルブ内の部品が作動せず、最悪の場合、ブレーキ 倍力装置が働かなくなって通常の踏力ではブレーキの効きが悪くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該バルブを内蔵した負圧ホースを良品と交換する。
