Defect
The shape of the accelerator cable end fitting and the material of its cover are inappropriate. The cover deteriorates over time and adheres to the inner cable. As a result, the inner cable can catch on the end fitting and, in the worst case, the engine may not return to idle even after the accelerator pedal is released.
Corrective action
Inspect the accelerator cable on all vehicles and replace the cover with the corrected part.

状況
アクセルケーブルエンド部の金具の形状及びカバーの材質が不適切なため、当該カバーが 経時劣化して、インナーケーブルに付着することがある。そのため、インナーケーブルが 当該部金具に引っ掛かり、最悪の場合、アクセルペダルを戻しても原動機の回転が下がら なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
