Defect
In the front-to-rear torque distribution unit of the drivetrain, some coupling nuts were not staked during assembly. Continued use may cause the nut to loosen and, in the worst case, the propeller shaft connection may disengage, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. Where staking was not performed, stake the nut. Where the nut is also found to be loose, inspect the interior of the distribution unit and replace any damaged parts with conforming units.

状況
動力伝達装置の前後軸駆動力分配装置において、当該分配装置のカップリングのナット部 のかしめが行われていないものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ナットが 緩み、最悪の場合、プロペラシャフトとの結合が外れ、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、当該ナット部のかしめが行われていないものは、かしめを行う。また、か しめが行われていないもので当該ナットが緩んでいるものは分配装置内部を点検し、損傷 している部品があれば良品と交換する。
