Defect

The left front wheel brake pipe is improperly assembled, causing it to contact the suspension damper. Continued operation allows the interference to damage the pipe and, in the worst case, brake fluid may leak, reducing braking force.

Corrective action

Inspect all vehicles. On any vehicle where the clearance between the brake pipe and suspension damper is insufficient, or where damage is present, replace the brake pipe with a conforming part.

状況

 左前輪用ブレーキパイプの取付けが不適切なため、当該ブレーキパイプが緩衝装置と干 渉し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ブレーキパイプが損傷し、最悪の場合、ブ レーキ液が漏れて制動力が低下するおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両点検し、当該ブレーキパイプと緩衝装置の隙間が少ないもの及び損傷しているも のは、ブレーキパイプを良品と交換する。
