Issue
Improper casting of the throttle cable's inner wire during manufacturing damaged the cable's coating tube on some units. This damage allows rainwater and other moisture to enter the interior of the throttle cable. In the worst case, the infiltrated water may freeze, preventing throttle operation and causing engine speed to remain elevated.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the throttle cable with a non-defective unit.

状況
スロットルケーブルにおいて。インナケーブルの鋳造加工が不適切なため、当該ケーブルのコーティングチューブを傷付けたものがある。そのため、当該部位から雨水等がスロットルケーブル内部に浸入し、最悪の場合、浸入した水が凍結し、スロットルを操作できずエンジン回転が下がらないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スロットルケーブルを良品に交換する。
