Defect
The tie rod connecting the steering knuckle to the hydraulic steering cylinder is improperly oriented during assembly. When the steering is turned to a large angle, the tie rod and knuckle interfere with each other, causing the tie rod to fracture. In the worst case, loss of steering control may result.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, visually inspect the installation orientation of the rear axle tie rod on both the left and right sides. Where the orientation is incorrect, install a new tie rod in the correct orientation. On vehicles where the tie rod is already fractured, also replace the tie rod pin.

状況
ナックルと油圧式ステアリングシリンダを連結しているタイロッドの取付向きが不適切な ため、操舵角が大きい状態で使用をするとタイロッドとナックルが干渉し、タイロッドが 破損するものがある。そのため、最悪の場合、かじ取操作が出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、目視にてリヤアクスルタイロッドの取付向きを左右共に確認し、不適切なものは 新品のタイロッドを正規向きに取付ける。 又、タイロッドが破損している車両はタイロッ ドピンも交換する。
